This April, Fish Beach Taverna is bringing the soul of Anatolia to the shores of Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark with an exclusive one-month pop-up in collaboration with Lezzet Anatolian Kitchen.

This limited-time culinary takeover blends the bold flavours of Turkish Anatolia with the breezy elegance of the Aegean coast—and it’s every bit as delicious as it sounds.

Two Culinary Icons, One Unforgettable Menu

At the heart of this experience are two remarkable chefs: Kemal Barut, the visionary behind Lezzet in Melbourne, and Coskun Uysal, the creative force behind the acclaimed Tulum Restaurant. Together, they’ve created a menu that celebrates heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary Turkish gastronomy.

Expect dishes that tell a story—from childhood memories in Beypazarı to sophisticated Melbourne kitchens—served with the warmth and charm Fish Beach Taverna is known for.


What’s On the Menu?

Guests can enjoy a specially curated set menu for lunch and dinner, available at AED250 per person (food only) or AED425 per person with wine and cocktail pairings. It’s a true showcase of modern Anatolian cuisine—crafted with heart, cooked over fire, and meant to be shared.

To kick things off, expect handcrafted Turkish snacks like wood-fired pita with smoked date butter and barrel-aged tulum cheese with chili jam. The spiced stuffed mussels are a nod to the coastal flavors of Turkey, while the grilled calamari and sumac-cured kingfish mezze bring out the Aegean spirit.

The main courses are nothing short of showstoppers. Think slow-cooked wagyu köfte with smoky eggplant salad, grilled lobster shish with lemon orzo pilaf, and the pièce de résistance: Australia’s Most Expensive Kebab—made with aged Wagyu Adana, caviar, gold leaf, bone marrow, and black truffle.

To end on a sweet note? Tavuk Göğsü, a silky Ottoman-style chicken and milk pudding, paired with lemon thyme ice cream and caramel mousse. And of course, no Turkish meal is complete without a strong cup of coffee or tea.
